Project Spotlight: Bramcote Drive

This month's featured project replaces an existing single-storey house with a modern, sustainable home designed to meet the client’s long-term needs. Sustainability and low-energy design were central to the brief, with a strong focus on minimising carbon footprint while staying within budget.
The new dwelling adopts a gable roof that mirrors the original pitch of the demolished bungalow, maintaining harmony with the surrounding context. Cross gables and front-facing roof windows help preserve the character of the street scene, while two flat-roof dormers at the rear provide additional internal space without overwhelming the building’s form.
