Project Description
The development comprises 24 new dwellings, including a mix of two- and three-storey houses alongside a four-storey apartment building, located on the southern edge of The Meadows overlooking the Victoria Embankment. The site sits within a varied context, surrounded by a combination of residential properties and larger-scale buildings.
Designed to respond to modern housing needs, the homes are sustainable and appropriately scaled to align with the surrounding built environment. Ridge heights are carefully considered to match neighbouring properties, ensuring a cohesive streetscape. The four-storey apartment building marks a prominent corner, its bold form clad in a mix of glass and metal, referencing the contemporary architecture found nearby.
The houses feature brick facades, while the apartment block combines brick, metal, and timber elements. A palette of red and grey bricks is used throughout the development to both complement and subtly diversify the traditional red-brick character of the area.
