The Old Grammar School

A 12th century former chapel and grammar school, the building is Grade 1 listed and a Scheduled Ancient Monument. As part of the £9.5m regeneration of the nearby Coventry Transport Museum the building was painstakingly restored including the lancet windows and leaded glass, whilst several newer additions in the courtyard to the rear were removed and replaced with a new glass entrance way. Inside modern services were installed for the first time and several bespoke new doors and staircases replaced decaying originals. The building is now available for private hire.
