A new planning application has been submitted for a proposed office hub at the former car park on Woolpack Lane 2, Nottingham, marking the second phase of the wider redevelopment of the site.
Phase A, currently under construction, involves the conversion and extension of the existing buildings at 15–17 Stoney Street, directly adjacent to the Phase B site.
The Phase B proposal introduces a contemporary three-storey building comprising seven office units, meeting facilities, and shared communal spaces. The scheme is conceived as a playful composition of volumes arranged around a central courtyard, creating an engaging and flexible working environment.
While the corner extension in Phase A draws inspiration from the established architectural language of Stoney Street, maintaining continuity in scale, rhythm, and form, Phase B adopts a more contemporary architectural expression. Its design remains sensitive to the surrounding urban context through carefully considered massing, materiality, and its relationship with neighbouring buildings.
An exciting next step in the regeneration of this part of Nottingham, bringing new workspace opportunities while contributing positively to the city's evolving architectural landscape.
