Engaging with the East Midlands Inclusive Growth Commission

Really enjoyed taking part in the East Midlands Combined County Authority engagement session in Nottingham yesterday — a packed room full of energy, ideas, and shared ambition for the region’s future.

Hosted by Nottingham Partners and ProCon Nottinghamshire Ltd, the event brought together over 200 people from across sectors to discuss the opportunities and challenges ahead.

We heard from Mayor Claire Ward and Edward Highfield before diving into a series of roundtable conversations on housing, skills, transport, inclusion, net zero and more. It was a great chance to exchange perspectives and listen to what really matters to people working across the East Midlands.

Thanks to the organisers for putting together such a thoughtful and collaborative event. Plenty of momentum to build on as the Inclusive Growth Commission moves forward.
