14 Oxford Street is situated on The Ropewalk, on the edge of The Park conservation area. The project adds two small additional storeys to an existing triangular brick building. The additions to the building are all prefabricated due to the tight confines of the site and also minimises construction waste. The building is highly insulated and features a perforated metal solar shade allowing daylight throughout whilst preventing overheating of the small spaces.
