Project Description
This project comprises four low-energy bungalows integrated within an existing sheltered housing development. Designed with sustainability at its core, the homes are constructed using low embodied energy materials and are semi-embedded into the site to improve thermal performance and reduce visual impact. Natural ventilation is utilised throughout, supported by a sun-space that pre-heats incoming fresh air, enhancing energy efficiency and occupant comfort. The result is a thoughtful addition to the development that promotes low-impact living while meeting the needs of its residents.
