Project Description
This project consists of 29 three- and four-bedroom houses arranged in seven small groupings within the Meadows area, located to the south-west of Nottingham city centre. The homes are carefully laid out to follow the existing street patterns of the neighbourhood, creating a cohesive and contextually sensitive development. A key feature of the site is its southern boundary along the River Trent, where a newly created adopted road provides access to a striking row of 11 three-storey townhouses overlooking the river. At the south-east corner of the site, a unique four-storey house enjoys panoramic views across the river and adjacent parkland.
All of the riverside homes include second-floor roof terraces, offering south-facing outdoor spaces with exceptional views and ample sunlight. Like the Green Street Phase 2 project, all properties in this development are designed to meet AECB Silver Standard—an energy-efficient, passive house-based construction approach that delivers very well insulated and airtight homes exceeding current Building Regulations. Each house features a durable brickwork ground floor with a highly insulated rendered upper storey and a monopitch roof. Large windows are incorporated throughout to provide generous natural light and maximise views, contributing to both the comfort and sustainability of the homes.
