Built in valuable greenbelt land the house is partially embedded in the site to reduce it's footprint. The house provides both living and working accommodation whilst making use of passive stack ventilation, solar hot water, photo-voltaic panels and high levels of thermal insulation. Its curving forms are designed around the ideas of orientation and view, for both internal and external spaces, in anticipation of a hotter future climate.
